The voice

English is read by an English voice, Spanish by a Mexican Spanish voice. Click any sentence on any page to hear it.

How long the voice waits

Each number is a wait in milliseconds. 1000 is one second. 0 means no wait at all.

Between every word ms 0 reads normally. Raise it and the sentence is read one word at a time.

After a comma , ms

After a full stop . ms

After a question mark ? ms

After an exclamation mark ! ms

After a semicolon ; ms

After a colon : ms

After a dash — ms

“I want it, and I want it now. Do you want it?”

The voice engine hands back one finished sound per request, so a pause inside a sentence cannot come from the engine. The page cuts the sentence at its punctuation and waits these amounts between the pieces.
